Futures Dialogue: From Burnout to Balance

As a Personal Futurist, a futures coach, I primarily work with individuals to explore their personal futures.

In practice, that means I support you in finding perspectives on your future at life’s crossroads, when imagining what lies ahead feels difficult.

I focus especially on situations where finding your own future feels hard or even impossible: after a serious failure, when your life or future feels unfamiliar, during a big decision or unexpected life change, or when it seems like you’ve lost all influence over your own future.

Of course, I don’t have a crystal ball.

The clearest view into your personal future comes from the attitude you bring to it, the curiosity with which you explore the world and your own life, the kind of everyday life you want to live, the choices you make because of it, and how you allow that process to grow you — both as a person and as part of a community.

My futures coaching is straightforward, practical, and experiment-driven.
It combines science, action, and intuition, and it is always shaped into something unique through our interaction together.

I coach through one-to-one sessions and online Personal Futures Journeys. I have very limited availability for individual coaching sessions.In fact, I don’t even consider them the most effective format for futures coaching.

That’s why I design my online Futures Journeys as comprehensive and hands-on deep dives into your own futures. Through them, you gain access to all of my expertise while also giving yourself the time and space to work through the material in your own way.

I also offer Guided Futures Exploration. They are virtual events you can join by purchasing a ticket, taking part as either an observer or a more active participant. A Futures Expedition might have 2, 20, or even 200 participants, and each one becomes its own deep, distinctive future experience.

Personal futures never happen in a vacuum. They are always in interaction with the community.

For groups and events, I offer futures workflows and futures dialogues that combine individual and collective perspectives, helping participants reach a deeper understanding of shared futures. Each group experience is also a chance for every participant to explore their own personal future.

Whatever the format, I see futures coaching as an exploration of the possibilities in your own future. Every coaching process always draws from three interconnected elements:

Fuel Your energy, stamina, and physical and mental resources. Body, mind, wellbeing, joy, hope, emotions. We make sure you have the strength and vitality to walk toward the futures you want to help create.

Futures Knowledge from futures studies. What you can perceive about the future, the spectrum of possibilities, curiosity and creativity, and the courage to challenge your current assumptions. We broaden your view of the future while uncovering and getting excited about new opportunities.

Focus Your personal compass. The direction. Keeping your gaze on yourself amidst all the chaos. Who am I? What kinds of futures do I want to live and experience? Here is where we dream, turn your excitement and energy into action, and develop your ability to live with uncertainty and incompleteness while moving toward your own future.

As a futures coach, I am a hopeful realist. Futures coaching does not necessarily aim for a perfect dream life with all challenges erased. Rather, it’s about building a meaningful future for you. One that may still carry responsibilities and realities you must, or choose to, keep.

Most importantly: your future is your choice. My coaching supports and inspires you on your journey toward a future that truly reflects who you are.

Guided Futures Exploration is a powerful perspective taken on personal futures. 

This virtual event offers a two-hour experience on a personal and often emotional futures topic. I share my experience and offer relatable insights into the process of creating and claiming new futures. 

This event is perfect for our first encounter. It works fantastically as a check-up and exploration of other peoples perspectives, when you are working with your futures in my futures platform or otherwise.

Outcome: Mindblowing futures thinking and plenty of food for thought for your own futures work.

Hosted on Zoom. You'll receive the Zoom link via email after completing your registration and payment.

Participation is flexible. You're welcome to join with or without camera, and you can engage through the chat throughout the session.

Every Exploration is unique. The focus and tone shift depending on the theme, but always with space for reflection and practical insight.

Great for newcomers. Whether this is your first encounter with Personal Futurist or you're already taking the online course, this session offers fresh perspectives and new entry points.

Duration: 120 minutes. Block two hours for yourself, bring a notebook or something to write on, and come as you are.

When it comes to your future and the changes you need, you deserve an efficient process that creates clarity and fosters accountability for both the team and individuals.

Futures Workflow elevates futures workshops beyond talk, empowering participants with accountability and giving them the tools to ensure follow-through.

Futures Workflow is a self-facilitated, video-guided process intended for a team, group or community, maybe for a small business.

Action oriented for serving as a platform for a continuous process for the group

My futures dialogue is a group discussion that will evolve to reflect the participants' perspectives on the topic. A futures dialogue will not be about arguing a case or finding one right way forward, but rather a collection of voices and perspectives to build upon.

Many of my services are intentionally not tied to the clock. But for those that are, I ask that we be both mindful and respectful of the time we commit to.

Before booking, please make a clear commitment.

If something truly urgent arises, we can find a solution. Otherwise, let’s both honour the agreements we make. For the sake of both our futures.

Below, you’ll find the terms I work with. While genuine emergencies or life-changing circumstances can always be discussed, for everyday scheduling matters, these are the time guidelines to follow.

Payment terms All orders are paid in personalfuturist.ee online store with available payment methods

Value-added Tax All prices in the online store include Estonian VAT (24%). Private customer pay the VAT as part of the product/service price. For intra-EU sales to organisations, VAT will be deducted at checkout when a valid VAT ID is provided.

Terms of delivery, transfer and cancellation:

Online courses and workshops are delivered immediately after purchase and are non-refundable.

Guided futures journeys: Tickets can be transferred to another date free of charge up to 7 days before the event. After that, a 25% transfer fee will be charged. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 28 days before the event; after that, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged.

Personal futures consultations can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance or cancelled up to 7 days before the scheduled time free of charge. After these deadlines, rescheduling or cancellation will incur a fee of 50% of the service price.

Workshops and futures dialogues held remotely: The date can be rescheduled free of charge up to 14 days before the agreed date. After that, a 25% rescheduling fee will be charged. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 28 days before the agreed date; after that, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

Workshops and futures dialogues held on-site (in person): The date can be rescheduled free of charge up to 28 days before the agreed date. After that, a 25% rescheduling fee will be charged, plus any additional costs related to travel arrangements. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 28 days before the agreed date; after that, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged, plus any additional costs related to travel arrangements.
